Nurture to Play A small film for a business creating something meaningful.
Jordan and Alexis created Nurture to Play to give young children room to explore while giving parents and caregivers a comfortable place to slow down, connect, and feel welcome. We created a short brand film to help more families understand the heart behind the space.

The idea
Show people why this place belongs here.
Nurture to Play is more than an indoor playground. It is a place designed by local parents who understood that families needed somewhere children could be children without caregivers feeling out of place.
Jordan and Alexis combined imaginative play areas with a welcoming café environment, creating room for children to explore and for parents to connect with one another.
The film needed to introduce that idea quickly and naturally. It was not meant to explain every membership, class, or feature. Its job was to help people feel the purpose of the space and recognize the people who created it.
The challenge and response
Communicate the feeling without overexplaining it.
The challenge
Introduce an unfamiliar business concept in less than a minute while keeping the story personal, welcoming, and centered on the families the space was created to serve.
The response
Create a concise brand film that lets the environment, the founders, and the energy of the space carry the message instead of relying on a long list of services or promotional claims.
Our approach
Keep the production polished and the story human.
Lead with the founders
Jordan and Alexis are central to the story because the business grew from their own experiences as parents and their belief that the St. Cloud area needed a space like this.
Show the environment
The film gives viewers a quick understanding of the physical space and the balance Nurture to Play creates between active play, comfort, and connection.
Respect the audience’s time
At under one minute, the finished piece can introduce the business without asking viewers to commit to a long commercial or detailed explanation.
Invest in the local ecosystem
This project reflects the kind of community Nichols WD wants to help build—one where local businesses share their strengths, support good ideas, and make the region stronger together.
The result
A concise introduction to a business built around connection.
A human introduction
The film gives families an opportunity to meet the people behind the business rather than encountering Nurture to Play as an unfamiliar name.
A reusable story
The short format gives the business a polished piece that can be shared wherever a quick introduction to the space is needed.
A local partnership
The project demonstrates what can happen when local businesses look beyond a conventional transaction and find ways to support one another’s work.
